Burrell Consulting Group, Inc is electrified to announce that we are helping Bosch construct a new chip fab here in Roseville!
The former TSI in Roseville is now part of Robert Bosch Semiconductor LLC. The approximately 250 local associates in Roseville are now part of the global Bosch family. Bosch plans to invest $1.5 billion to transform the Roseville site into a facility that produces and tests silicon carbide semiconductors, which are key building blocks for electric vehicles. Starting in 2026, the first chips will be produced on 200-millimeter wafers based on the innovative material silicon carbide (SiC). The global boom and ramp-up of electromobility are resulting in huge demand for such special semiconductors.
Burrell’s surveyors provided detailed Boundary and Topographic Surveys service of the 25 acres, as well as construction layout for new facilities inside the fabrication building.
