About Housing Trust Placer
On a pleasant October evening in Roseville, Housing Trust Placer hosted its second annual fundraiser at Topgolf, bringing together supporters, sponsors, and community members for a memorable event. The annual fundraiser aims to raise funds to support the organization’s mission of providing affordable housing solutions. With a diverse range of sponsors, including Taylor Builders, the event sponsor, North State Building Industry Association, Marques Engineering, and King Engineering, the evening was a delightful blend of golf, prizes, and exciting auction experiences. Six team members from Burrell, also joined in the festivities, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

The Evening’s Festivities
As the sun began to set, the approximately 200 guests, including supporters of Housing Trust Placer and members of the local community, gathered to contribute to a worthy cause. The event kicked off with friendly rounds of golf, where participants showcased their skills, engaged in friendly competition, and enjoyed the unique Topgolf experience as players aimed for the targets, vying for the top scores. Out of 21 Teams playing for victory, Burrell came in at 6th Place by the end of the evening. The evening was not only about golf and friendly competition but also about giving attendees an opportunity to win exciting prizes and bid on exclusive experiences through a live auction. The prizes included various travel packages, golf getaways, and culinary experiences, enticing guests with the promise of adventure and enjoyment.
As bids were placed and the excitement grew, the auction became a highlight of the evening, with attendees eagerly vying for their desired experiences.
Burrell’s Contribution
Housing Trust Placer showcased the attendee’s collective dedication to addressing the affordable housing crisis in the region by bringing companies across Placer County together for this event. Burrell Consulting Group made an additional donation during the event that will directly support the Parkside at Sabre City project. Housing Trust Placer is developing this new build-to-rent community that will provide a total of 44 new homes. The donations received during the event will go to helping multiple families in Placer County.
Additionally, by attending the fundraiser, Burrell continues to demonstrate its ongoing dedication to the cause of affordable housing and its desire to collaborate with Housing Trust to achieve this common goal. We were excited that our presence contributed to the sense of community and unity that permeated the evening and we look forward to next year’s event.
